Maness, City Controller 5U : Transfer ordinance #20 1985 Transfer within General Fund - Economic Development Bill McDermott This transfer ordinance is necessitated by the need to establish a line item for gasoline in the 2000 category in the 1985 budget of the Department of Economic Development. When the-1985 budget for this department was developed last summer, we failed to incLude an account for gasoline. Now that this is an active department, it is necessary to establish this account to comply with the State Board of Accounts' accounting manual. Gasoline is considered a supply item rather than other service and charges. The $1,000 will be used to cover the cost of gasoline pumped frnm the City gasoline pumps. This $1,000 is coming from the Line item travel in the 3000 category_ The line item travel is used for out of town travel costs such as airplane and hotel. costs. Please note that this is a transfer, it does not .represent an increase in the 1985 budget in the Department of Economic Development. The $1,0.00 is an estimate for the y ar 1985 and is based on Jan. 1985 charges of $78 - 6 78 @ 12 = $1,000_ }) }2 }2 f ( •\ /f / , ƒ,a g r § § § }\ } } } } } } \ ) § § Ld (ILA) TRANSFER OF FUNDS CERTIFICATE 1, the proper legal officer of the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana, hereby certify to the Auditor of Wayne County that the Common Council `CransferrQd From 3000-Other Services & Charges (Major Budget Classification) To 2000-Supplies (Major Budget Classification) within General Fund - Dept. of Econonic Develognent (Department or Office) and that such transfer does not necessitate expenditures of more money than was set out in detail in the budget as finally approved by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
