Motion by Lindaman second by Van Hauen to approve the Minutes of the April regular meeting. All ayes, carried. Motion by Van Heiden second by Nielsen to approve the Treasurer’s Report for April. All ayes, carried. Motion by Nielsen second by Van Hauen to approve the following bills for payment. Karen Mennenga, Library Director, presented the Library Report and update on the Library Building Project. Mindy Dolan, Dolan Excavating, presented information about the cracked concrete in the subdivision. Suggestion from the council was to take core samples and check the depth of the concrete. The Mayor will contact the Clapsaddle Garber about the discussion. The insurance claims from the water damage were discussed and referred back to the respective insurance companies. Motion by Van Hauen second by Lindaman to approve quote from Gerhke Inc. for drainage repairs on North Monroe St. and removing line item #7 for seeding. Total cost of the project will be $13,020.00. All ayes, carried. Motion by Nielsen second by Lindaman to approve the FY 2010 Law Enforcement Agreement with Grundy County. Cost for FY 2010 police protection will be $32,875.00. All ayes, carried. Motion by Van Hauen second by Buseman to approve the Identity Theft Policy for the City of Wellsburg. All ayes, carried. Motion by Nielsen second by Buseman to approve building permits for Dave Reents and Dennis Tjepkes. All ayes, carried. Motion to adjourn Van Heiden second by Nielsen. All ayes, carried.
