CLOSED SESSION MINUTES
HILLSBOROUGH TOWN BOARD
December 13, 2004 The Hillsborough Town Board held a Closed Session on December 13, 2004 in the Hillsborough Town Barn as authorized by North Carolina General Statute Section 143-318.11 (3) to meet with Town Attorney regarding Colonial Inn Litigation Proceedings Status Report and Direction for further action, and as authorized by North Carolina General Statute Section 143-318.11(6) to discuss a Personnel Matter. Present for the Closed Session were Mayor Joe Phelps, and Commissioners Eric Hallman, Michael Gering, Brian Lowen, Frances Dancy, and Evelyn Lloyd. Staff present were Town Manager Eric Peterson, Assistant Town Manager/Public Works Director Demetric Potts, Town Clerk Donna Armbrister, Planning Director Margaret Hauth, and Town Attorney Bob Hornik. Mayor Joe Phelps opened the Closed Session. 12.CLOSED SESSIONA.Closed Session as authorized by North Carolina General Statute Section 143-318.11 (3) tomeet with Town Attorney regarding Colonial Inn Litigation Proceedings Status Reportand Direction for further actionTown Attorney Bob Hornik reported that mediation is scheduled for tomorrow in the case of the Colonial Inn Litigation. He asked for volunteers to attend that mediation and requested direction from the Board. Planning Director Margaret Hauth and Commissioner Hallman volunteered to attend the Mediation with Attorney Hornik. Hauth stated that items 1,2,9,11,13,17,18 on the Colonial Inn Repair Schedule of February 24, 2004 are highest priorities.
