AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more
money than was appropriated in the annual budget:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following
additional sums of money are hereby appropriated.

SECTION 2. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation, the following
additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set
apart out of the fund herein named and for the purposes herein
specified, subject to the laws governing the same.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the

COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the
Council Chambers in the Muncipal Building of said City on April 15, 1985
at the hour of 7:30 P_M_
Councilperson Williams presided with the following members present:

The following business was had, to -wit:

The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the
Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond,
Indiana an the date of April 5, 1985 Said notice stated that a public
hearing would be held on the 15th day of April 19 85, by the
Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No.
30-1985 , within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication was
examined and found to be in order. Councilperson _ Whitesell moved the
proof of publication be received anf filed, seconded by Councilperson Morris
and on unanimous voice vote the raotion was carried.

President Williams announced Ordinance No. 30-1985 was on public hearing.
After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 30-1985 was placed on final
passage or rejection and on a call of the roll the following was recorded:

The additional appropriations as fin4lly made will be referred to the State
Board of Tax Commissioners, which Board, upon receipt, will hold a further

or at such other place as may be designated. AL such hearing taxpayers
objecting to any of such additional appropriations may fie heard. Interested
taxpayers may inquire of the County Auditor when and where such ht,aring
will be held.

This Appropriation Ordinance provides the necessary funding to upgrade the
Receptionist/Technician position in the Board of Warks.
$1,302.00 is additional salary raising position from $ 9,698.00 to $ 11,000.00.
The remaining $ 173.00 is to cover additional Social Security and PERF cost.
The fund balance of the General Fund is sufficient to cover the appropriation.
