AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to transfer money
within the fund appropriated in the annual budget:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION I. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following
additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered and
set apart out of the several appropriations herein named and for the
purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same:

SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations
now have unobligated balances which will riot be needed for the
purposes for which appropriated, it is furt'her ordained that the
following existing appropriations be reduced in the following amounts:

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect: from and after its

The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the
Council Chambers in the ,Muncipal Building of said City on April 15, 1985
at the hour of 7:30 P.M. , V
Councilperson Williams presided with the following members present:

The following business was had, to -wit:

The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the
Richmond Palladium item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond,
Indiana on the date of Public LAw 54 Said notice stated that a public
hearl.ug would be held on the day of , 191 by the
Common Councii to consider additional. appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No.
, within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication was
examined and found to be in order_ Councilperson _ _ _ _ moved the
Proof of publication be received anf filed, seconded by Councilperson
and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried.
The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 31-1985
President - Williams announced Ordinanre No. 31-1985 Was on public hearing.
After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 31-1985 was placed on final
passage ar rejection and on a call of the roll the following was recorded:

This Ordinance transfers the Personne[ Director civil City salary of $ 14,400.90
and associated benefits from the finance department to the Mayor's office at same
rate of salary retitled Director of Administrative Services.
Remainder of salary of $ 3,500.00 is paid from Sanitary District.
