HomeMy Public PortalAbout033-1985-TRANSFER WITHIN THE REVENUE SHARING FUNDTRANSFER ORDINANCE NO.33-1985 AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE REVENUE SHARING FUND W HEREA5, it has been determined that it is now necessary to transfer money within the fund appropriated in the annual budget: NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA., SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered and set apart out of the several appropriations herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same: AMOUNT REQUESTED AMOUNT APPROPRIATED REVENUE SHARING FUND MVH 4000- Capital Outlay $ 2,592.00 $ 2,592.00 SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in the following amounts: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED REDUCED REVENUE SHARING MVH 2000- Supplies $ 2,592.00 $ 2,592.00 SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana. Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana, hereby certify to the Auditor of Wayne County that the Common Council Transferred $ 2,590.00 From 2000 — Supplies (Major Budget Classification) To 4000 — Capital Outlay (Major Budget Classification) Within Revenue Shax'iM — Motor Vehicle Highway (Department or office) and that such transfer does not necessitate expenditures of more money than was set out in detail in the budget as finally approved by the State Board of Tax Commissioners. EXCERPTS OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council Chambers in the Muncipal Building of said City on April 1,1985 at the hour of 7:30 P.M. Councilperson W[lli.ams presided with the following members present: councilpersons Elstro Brookbank Parker BOdiker , Line Morris , Absent Hankinson Whitesell > The following business was had, to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana on the date of Public Law 54 Said notice stated that a public hearing would be held on the day of , 19 , by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in 6rdinance No. within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication was examined and found to be in order. Councilperson moved the proof of publication be received anf filed, seconded by Councilperson and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. The Cleric read on second reading Ordinance No. 33-1985 President Williams announced ordinance No. 33-1985 was on'publin hearing. After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 33-1985 was placed on final. passage or rejection and on a call of the roll the following was recorded: Ayes: Elstro Brnokbank �, Parker , Bodiker > Lemine Morris _> Williams , Noes: None , Absent• FIarilcinson , Whitescll , _ ? The total anticipoated cost is $ 6,000.00. There is $ 3.408.00 remaining from the 1964 appropriation of Revenue Sharing to MVH. A Steam Ginny is used to clean motors and engines.
