AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more
money than was appropriated in the annual budget:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMOF COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following
additional sums of money are hereby appropriated.

SECTION 2. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation, the following

specified, subject to the laws governing the same.

PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS
ldotice is hereby given the taxpayers of the City of Richmond, Wayne County,
Indiana, that the proper legal officers of said Municipal Corporation at
their regular meeting place at 7:30 o'clock P.M., on the 6th day of

Taxpayers appearing at such meeting shall have •a right to be heard thereon.
The additional appropriations as finally niadc wiIl be referred to I:hc. State
Board of Tax Commissioners, which Board, ulion receipt, will hold a further
hearing within fifteen days at the County Auditor's Office of said County,
or at such other place as may be designated. At such hearing taxpayers
objecting to any of such additional appropriations may be heard. Interested
taxpayers may inquire of the County Auditor when and whrre such hearing
will be held.

The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in rE= ular session in the
Council Chambers in the Muncipal Building of said City on 6, 1985
at the hour of 7:30 P.M.
Councilperson Lenoine resided with the following members present;

The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the
Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond,
Indiana on the date of April 26, 1985 Said notice stated that a public
bearing would be held on the Ottl day of aY , 19 85, by the
Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No.
34-1985 within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication was
examined and found to be in order. Councilperson _Hankinson moved the
proof of publication be received anf filed, seconded by Councilperson Parker
and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried,

President Pro -tern Lmmine announced Ordinance lmo. 34-1985 was on public hearing.
After bearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 34-1985 was placed on final
passage or rejection and on a call of the roll the following was recorded:
