A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE
TOWN OF GULF STREAM, PALM EEACH COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING A $15,00 PER MONTH
ADDITIONAL CHARGE ON ALL WATER BILLS ISSUED
BY THE TOWN, SAiD CHARGE TO BE ENTITLED
"RESERVES ", TO BE USED FOR iNFRASTRUCTURE
REPAIRS, REPLACEMENTS AND IMPROVEMENTS
RELATING TO THE WATER SYSTEM LOCATED WITHIN
THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM; REQUiR;ING THAT THE
TOWN MAINTAIN A SEPARATE ACCOU14T FOR THESE
FUNDS WHICH SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE PURPOSES
STATED HEREIN; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town Commission has determined a need to establish a
at account for the purpose of infrastructure repairs, replacements and
improvements for the water system located within the Town of Gulf Stream; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a $15.00 per month fee shall be
added to the water bill of each customer within the Town of Gulf Stream; and
WHEREAS, billings to customers are bimonthly, Therefore, a $30,00
charge shall be added to all water bills issued subsegLient to the date of this
Resolution.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION
OF THE TOWN OF GULF STRFAM, PALM BEACH ( COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS
FOLLOWS;
Secs A "reserve fee of $15.00 per month ($30,00 bi- monthly)
shall be included on the water bill for all residents of the Town who are billed for
water servioes. The purpose of said charge is to establi ,5h a reserve account in
order that the Town may defer costs for infrastructure repairs, replacements and
improvements necessary to adequately maintain the water system within the
Town of Gulf Stream,
Section ion 2. The Town shall establish a separate reserve account for the
deposit of said funds, which funds shall not be cominglf -d with other accounts of
the Town.
Sect_ ion 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and adoption.
