HomeMy Public PortalAbout049-1985-TRANSFER WITHIN THE AIRPORT FUNDTRANSFER ORDINANCE NO.49- 1985 AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE AIRPORT FUND WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to transfer money within the fund appropriated in the annual budget: NOW THEREFORE BE IT OR➢AINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA: SEC TIO N 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the follo wing additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered and set apart out of the several appropriations herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED AIRPORT FUND - 3000- Other Services & $ 1,209.00 $ 1,209.00 Charges SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in the following amounts: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED REDUCED AIRPORT FUND 1000 -Personal Services $ 1,209.00 $ 1,209.00 SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana. The proof of publication was examined and found to be in order. Councilperson moved the proof of publication be received anf filed, seconded by Councilperson and on unanimous voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 49-1985 President Williams announced Ordinance No. 49-1985 was on public hearing. After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 49-1985 was placed on final passage or rejection and on a call of the roll the following was recorded: Ayes: Elstro Brookbank Hankincnn , Whitesell > — BOdiker L —, Morris Williams Noes: none , Absent: Parker > The vote being 8 to 0 in favor of passage of (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) inane No. 49-1985 There being no further business on a motion duly made, seconded and passed, the meeting was adjourned. Maness, City Controller SUBJ=: Transfer Ordinance 449, 1985, An Ordinance to Transfer Within the Airport Fund CM TO- Paul Hedges, Manager file This transfer of $1209 from personal services to other service and charges is needed to cover the 1985 Indiana Gross income Taxes payable to the State of Indiana on Aviation Fuel Sales_ This line item in the 1985 budget is not sufficient to cover the four quarter of taxes due. Due to an extended illness of the airport staff in late 84 and early 85, $1209 in savings have accumulated in regular salaries and is now available to be transferred. For Council, June 3, 1985 (IIA) TRANSFER OF FUNDS CERTIFICATE I, the proper legal officer of the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana, hereby certify to the Auditor of Wayne County that the Common Council Transferred 1,209.00 From 1000-Personal Services (Major Budget Classification) To 3000-Other Services & Charges (Major Budget Classification) Within Airport Fund (Department or Office) and that such transfer does not necessitate expenditures of more money than was set out in detail in the budget as finally approved by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
