Home My Public Portal About066-1985-DESIGNATING SOUTH 6TH ST BETWEEN SOUTH A AND SOUTH B STREET AS A RESIDENTIAL PARKING PERMIT AREAORDINANCE NO. 66-1985 AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING SOUTH 6TH STREET BETWEEN SOUTH A AND SOUTH B STREETS AS A RESIDENTIAL PARKING PERMIT AREA AND AUTHORIZING THE CONDITIONAL ISSUANCE OF PARKING PERMITS TO RESIDENTS OF SUCH AREA WHEREAS, the Common Council of Richmond has established a procedure for the designation of residential parking permit areas, and known as Amended Ordinance No. 47-1984, and WHEREAS, the procedure contained in such ordinance has been carried out and a report submitted to the Common Council by the Board of Public Works and Safety pursuant to such procedure; and WHEREAS, the Common Council of Richmond finds that the designation of South 6th Street between South A and South B Streets satisfies the criteria of Amended Ordinance No. 47-1984 and would serve the interests enumerated therein. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the portion of South 6th Street located betw en South A and South 6 Streets is hereby designated a residential parking permit area within the purview of Amended Ordinance No. 47-1984; and the issuance of parking permits to residents of such area is hereby authorized subject to the conditions of Amended Ordinance No. 47-1984.
