CALL TO ORDER at 6:03 p.m.
Present: Chairman Patrick Stephens, Vice Chair Nathan Smith, Commissioner Paul St. Martin,
Commissioner Jessica Black
Absent: Commissioner Anthony Colindres, Commissioner Jessica Black

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD (ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA):
Any one person may address the Committee on any matter not on this agenda. If you wish to speak, please fill out a “Public
Comment Form” provided at the back table and give it to the Committee Chair or Secretary. There is a three (3) minute limit
on public comments. There will be no sharing or passing of time to another person. State Law prohibits the Committee from
discussing or taking actions brought up by your comments.

To approve Minutes dated May 11, 2021.
Approved by a 3-0 vote

2. Housing Element Update Presentation and Workshop
Public Comment
C. Brozowski - Asked questions regarding re-zoning and the target percentage of low income
housing buffer that the City would like to establish.
Consensus of the Planning Commission to receive and file.
3. Actions Related to the Purchase and Sale Agreement by and between the City of Beaumont
and Orum Capital for Certain Real Property Located on East Fourth Street, East of Beaumont
Avenue
Consensus of the Planning Commission to receive and file.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR COMMENTS
Gave a review of the Housing Element. Announced that the City was recognized statewide for a
comprehensive General Plan update.

The next regular meeting of the Beaumont Planning Commission is scheduled for Tuesday,
September 14, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. or thereafter as noted on the posted Agenda at City Hall
