ORDINANCE NO. 535
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING ORDINANCE 416, SECTION 522 TO PROVIDE THAT
LOCAL SEWRAGE CHARGES SHALL BE USED FOR MAINTENANCE
AND OPERATION OF THE PLANT, AND SECTION 809 IS ADDED
TO PROVIDE FOR FUTURE CHANGES TO THE ORDINANCE BY
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
ARTICLE I. Section 522, the first sentence shall be amended
to read: "the sums received in payment for local sewering charges
shall be used for sewage plant maintenance and operation costs and
capital improvements if desired- The sums received for sewage
treatment facility charges shall be placed in a fund designated
"Sewage Works Construction Fund".
ARTICLE II. Section 809 is added to provide, "The City Council
nav amend this ordinance by Resolution of the City Council in the
anner governing the adoption of Resolutions".
ARTICLE III. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
-his Ordinance, and shall cause the same to be published'once in
the Daily Record -Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation in
the City of Beaumont, and it shall be in full force and effect
hirty (30)days after its adoption.
