ORDINANCE NO. 557
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, CALIFORNIA AMENDING ORDINANCE 523
TO DELETE LAUNDRIES AS AN INDUSTRIAL WASTE
DISPOSAL OPERATION
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Beaumont that Ordinance 523 is amended as follows:
ARTICLE I: Article I of Ordinance 523 is repealed.
ARTICLE II: Laundries and laundromats that discharge in excess
of 500 gallons per day shall be billed on the basis of average
residential unit equivalents based on prior year average use.
ARTICLE III: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance, and shall cause the same to be published once in
the Daily Record -Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation in the
City of Beaumont, and it shall be in full force and effect thirty
(30) days after its adoption.

day of October , 1982, upon the following roll call vote:
