HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrdinance 5781 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 ORDINANCE NO. 578 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, CALIFORNIA AMENDING ORDINANCE 333, SECTION 4-e, TO PROVIDE THAT THE BUSINESS LICENSE CONTROL OFFICER SHALL HAVE POWER TO CITE VIOLATORS OF ORDINANCE 333 The City Council of the City of Beaumont, California, pur- suant to California Penal Code Section 836.5, DOES HEREBY ORDAIN that Ordinance 333, Section 4-e, Policing, is amended to read: It is hereby made the duty of the Chief of Police and/or the Business License Control Officer, and/or their deputies to cause complaints to be filed against all persons violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance and each of them shall have the power to make arrests of such violators; each of them shall have the right to enter, free of charge, at any time during normal business hours, any place of business and require exhibition of the current license by any person engaged or employed therein.
