ORDINANCE NO. 593
AN URGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 17 OF THE BEAUMONT
MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING THE LAND USE ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT TO PROVIDE PRE -ZONING TO PROPERTY
REQUESTING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT
(84-ANX-3-34)
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Beaumont, California as follows:
SECTION I: To protect the public safety, health and welfare,
this Ordinance is adopted as an urgency ordinance precedent to an
annexation request to the City of Beaumont.
SECTION II: The Land Use Map, as provided for in Section 17.
12.020 of the Municipal Code of the City of Beaumont, is hereby
amended to provide that property identified as twenty (20) acres
more or less which is a portion of Assessors Parcel Number 419-260-
006, known as Lot Line Adjustment Case No. 1861, is pre -zoned
Interim Industrial Park (I -IP).
This Ordinance shall take effect as provided by law.
