One way is to use Laserfiche Scanning to convert paper documents into electronic images and store those images in Laserfiche. Scanning provides a wide variety of options for processing documents as they are scanned; you can tailor your scanning procedure to meet your organization’s needs. Using these options can make your documents easier to read, categorize, and locate in your repository. Laserfiche Scanning has two scanning modes: • Basic Scanning mode requires minimal configuration, provides a few basic enhancements, and offers the option to set default document properties. The emphasis is on scanning a single document. It is ideal for beginning and intermediate users with relatively simple scanning needs. " Standard Scanning mode provides much more flexibility, with a broad variety of available enhancements and processes giving users full control over images. Standard Mode is best for scanner operators. Basic Mode Basic mode offers a simple interface to help you quickly perform basic scanning tasks.
