HomeMy Public PortalAbout031-2004 - Rezoning - 420 S 4th St.ORDINANCE 31-2004 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL FROM R-3 TO R-3 SPECIAL USE DISTRICT Whereas, the Zoning Map designates certain property commonly known as 420 South 4th Street, and legally described as provided and follows, to wit: The South half of Lot number Ninety-three (93) in that part of the City of Richmond laid out by John Smith, EXCEPT that part thereof conveyed to the C.R. & M.R.R. described as follows, to wit: Beginning at the southwest corner of said lot; thence East to a point eighty-five (85) feet west of the southeast corner of said lot; thence Northwestwardly to a point on the north line of said half lot, five (5) feet East of the northwest corner of said lot; thence West five (5) feet; thence South to the place of beginning. as an R-3 One to Eight Family Residence District; and Whereas, it is desirable to change the above described real estate’s zoning designation to an R-3 Special Use District in order to allow the occupier to maintain an administrative office building on the premises; and NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation for the above described property is changed to an R-3 Special Use District.
