AUTHO]~IZ1NG ~ MAYOR TO EXECUTE LOCAL ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM (LAP) AGREEMENTS
W1TEREAS, the Middlesex County Sheriff's Department operates the
Local Assistance Program (LAP) to provide assistance to local municipalities in
Middlesex County by providing labor for various local public projects; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body of the Borough of Carteret is desirous
of availing itself of the benefits of this program.
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council
of the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Local
Assistance program Agreements with the Middlesex County
Sheriff's Office.
ADOPTED THIS 6th DAY OF FEBRHARY
2003 AND CERTIFIED AS A TRUE COPY
OF THE ORIGINAL ON FEBRHARY 7, 2003.
