A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING BUDGETARY TRANSFER FROM UNAPPROPRIATED
GENERAL FUND TO ELECTION EXPENDITURES ACCOUNT NUMBER
1011.15.105.62020 IN THE AMOUNT OF $92,716.74
WHEREAS, the budget for 2022-2023 included an appropriation of funds for the
November 8, 2022 Gubernatorial General Election of $165,000; and
WHEREAS, on June 7, 2022, the Statewide Direct Primary Election, Special
Election for Measure R for the City of Lynwood, was held and the cost incurred to the
City of Lynwood and billed by Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk was
$124,728.03 along with other charges related to the election operations; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood participated in the November 8, 2022
Gubernatorial General Election, and has received the bill from Los Angeles County
Registrar Recorder/County Clerk for $92,716.74.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby finds and declares
that the foregoing recitals are true and correct, and incorporates them herein as findings
and as a substantive part of this Resolution.
Section 2. The City Council authorizes an appropriation for $92,716.74 to be
transferred to account 1011.15.105.62020 to cover the cost of the invoice for the
November 8, 2022 Gubernatorial General Election.
