RESOLUTION NO. 97 -5
A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO RICHARD L. BLACK, RANGE RIDER,
FROM THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM
WHEREAS, the Town Commission needed assistance in conducting a search
for a new Town Manager; and
WHEREAS, the Florida City & County Management Association and the
International City Management Association have a Range Rider Program through
which retired public administrators are made available to assist local governments
with a variety of issues, including manager searches; and
WHEREAS, Richard L. Black, Range Rider, offered to assist the Gulf Stream
Town Commission in the search for a new Town Manager; and
WHEREAS, Richard L. Black did an outstanding job in helping the Gulf
Stream Town Commission develop and conduct a highly successful search for a new
Town Manager; and
WHEREAS, in recognition of his dedicated and devoted time, service and
energy given in the interest of the Town of Gulf Stream, the entire Town Commission
on behalf of itself and the Town wishes to extend its appreciation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION OF
THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
THAT THIS RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION BE EXTENDED TO RICHARD L.
BLACK FOR HIS DEDICATION AND DEVOTED SERVICES TO THE TOWN OF GULF
STREAM; AND
FURTHER, THAT A TWO HUNDRED DOLLAR DONATION BE MADE BY THE
TOWN OF GULF STREAM IN THE NAME OF RICHARD L. BLACK TO THE FLORIDA
CITY & COUNTY MANAGEMENT FOUNDATION.
