AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
CALIFORNIA, PREZONING 9.83 ACRES FROM COUNTY RA -1 (RESIDENTIAL
AGRICULTURE) TO CITY RSF (RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY). APPLICANT:
AWARE DEVELOPMENT. LOCATION: WEST SIDE OF SUNNYSLOPE AVENUE
APPROXIMATELY 350 FEET NORTH OF ITS INTERSECTION WITH COUGAR WAY.
(ANNEXATION 88-ANX-3-41)
WHEREAS, the owner of 9.83 acres located on the west
side of Sunnyslope Avenue, approximately 350 feet north of its
intersection with Cougar Way, has requested annexation to the City
of Beaumont; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO)
of the County of Riverside requires that a City prezone property
prior to the filing of an annexation application; and
WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing as required by
law was conducted by the Beaumont City Council on the 12th day of
December, 1988 on said prezoning;;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The Beaumont Zoning Map is hereby amended to
read as follows:
Property identified as Riverside County Assessor
Parcel Number 406-110-002 is prezoned from
County RA -1 (Residential Agriculture) to City
RSF (Residential Single Family).
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days after its final passage and within fifteen (15) days after
its passage the City Clerk shall cause a summary to be published
in the Record -Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation, printed
and published in the City of Beaumont, in the manner prescribed by
law for publishing of Ordinances of said City.
MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of January
1989 .
