AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
CALIFORNIA, PREZONING 570.6 ACRES FROM COUNTY R—A (RURAL
AGRICULTURE) TO CITY SPA (SPECIFIC PLANNING AREA).
4.3 DU/AC. (88—RZ-4). APPLICANT: HOVCHILD, INC./JEFF LODDER.
LOCATION: ON HIGHLAND SPRINGS AVENUE APPROXIMATELY ONE MILE
SOUTH OF ITS INTERSECTION WITH INTERSTATE 10.
(ANNEXATION 87—ANX-4-44)
WHEREAS, the owner of 570.6 acres located on Highland
Springs Avenue approximately one mile south of its intersection
with Interstate 10, has requested annexation to the City of
Beaumont; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO)
of the County of Riverside requires that a City prezone property
prior to the filing of an annexation application; and
WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing as required by
law was conducted by the Beaumont City Council on the 27th day of
March, 1989 on said prezoning;;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Upon the recordation of the Certificate of
Completion of Annexation 87-ANX-4-44 by the Local Agency Formation
Commission, the Beaumont Zoning Map shall be amended to read as
follows:
Property identified as Riverside County Assessor
Parcel Numbers 421-130-004, 005, 007, 009, 010,
011, 017, 018, 019, 020, and 021, is prezoned
from County R -A (Rural -Agriculture) to City SPA
(Specific Planning Area), 4.3 du/ac.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days after its final passage and within fifteen (15) days after
its passage the City Clerk shall cause a summary to be published
in the Record -Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation, printed
and published in the City of Beaumont, in the manner prescribed by
law for publishing of Ordinances of said City.
