AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
CALIFORNIA, PREZONING 1.0 ACRES FROM COUNTY W-2 (CONTROLLED
DEVELOPMENT) TO CITY C -G (COMMERCIAL GENERAL). (90-RZ-1).
APPLICANT: ALLIED GROUP, INC./HELON SAAB, INC. LOCATION:
11867 Beaumont Avenue. (ANNEXATION 90-ANX-1-45)
WHEREAS, the owner of one acre (1.0), located at 11867
Beaumont Avenue, the west side of Beaumont Avenue about 500 feet
north of its intersection with 14th Street, has requested
annexation to the City of Beaumont; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO)
of the County of Riverside requires that a City prezone property
prior to the filing of an annexation application; and
WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing as required by
law was conducted by the Beaumont City Council on the 23rd day of
July, 1990 on said prezoning;;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Upon the recordation of the Certificate of
Completion of Annexation 90-ANX-1-45 by the Local Agency Formation
Commission, the Beaumont Zoning Map shall be amended to read as
follows:
Property identified as Riverside County Assessor
Parcel Number 406-140-003, is prezoned from County
W-2 (Controlled Development) to City C -G (Commercial
General).
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days after its final passage and within fifteen (15) days after
its passage the City Clerk shall cause a summary to be published
in the Community Adviser, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed and published in the City of Beaumont, in the manner
prescribed by law for publishing of Ordinances of said City.
MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of August
1990.
