AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
CALIFORNIA, PREZONING 128 ACRES FROM COUNTY A-1 (LIGHT
AGRICULTURE) TO CITY SPA (SPECIFIC PLANNING AREA, 4.1 du/ac)
(90-RZ-5). APPLICANT: KIRK EVANS/KSE DEVELOPMENT. LOCATION:
BOUNDED BY FOURTEENTH STREET TO THE NORTH, ELM STREET TO THE
EAST, MARSHALL CREEK AND FLORENCE AVENUE TO THE SOUTH, AND NOBLE
CREEK AND INTERSTATE 10 TO THE WEST. ANNEXATION 89-ANX-3-47.
WHEREAS, the owner of 128 acres, located with Fourteenth
Street to the north, Elm Street to the east, Marshall Creek and
Florence Avenue to the south, and Noble Creek and Interstate 10 to
the west, has requested annexation to the City of Beaumont; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO)
of the County of Riverside requires that a City prezone property
prior to the filing of an annexation application; and
WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing as required by
law was conducted by the Beaumont City Council on the 26th day of
November, 1990 on said prezoning;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Upon recordation of the Certificate of
Completion of Annexation 89-ANX-3-47 by the Local Agency Formation
Commission, the Beaumont Zoning Map shall be amended to read as
follows:
Property identified as Riverside County Assessor
Parcel Numbers 414-020-001-8, 414-020-003-0, 414-
020-002-9, 414-060-004-1, 414-060-001-2, 414-060-
002-3, 414-070-003-5, 414-070-006-8 and
414-080-007-0, is prezoned from County A-1 (Light
Agriculture) to City SPA (Specific Planning Area,
4.1 du/ac).
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days after its final passage and within fifteen (15) days after
its passage the City Clerk shall cause a summary to be published
in the Community Adviser, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed and published in the City of Beaumont, in the manner
prescribed by law for publishing of Ordinances of said City.
MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of December
1990.
