AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, CALIFORNIA, REPEALING SECTION 17.40.325-8.
OF THE BEAUMONT MUNICIPAL CODE AND ADDING TO THE
BEAUMONT MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 17.40.325-8.
DEALING WITH OUTDOOR MERCHANDISE DISPLAYS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Section 17.40.325-8. of the Beaumont Municipal
Code is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2: Section 17.40.325-8. is hereby added to read as
follows:
-8.) OUTDOOR MERCHANDISE DISPLAYS. Limitations on
Permitted Uses. Every use permitted in a C -G Zone shall be
subject to the following conditions and limitations.
a. Outdoor displays of merchandise may be allowed
subject to review and approval of an Administrative Plot Plan,
Minor Plot Plan or Plot Plan per Section 17.70.005 of this
Ordinance subject but not limited to the following:
b. Any temporary outdoor display not to exceed five
(5) consecutive days shall be allowed subject to Administrative
Plot Plan review and limited to one occurrence every six (6)
months.
c. Displays shall mean merchandise available for
immediate sale directly related to the business on site, and
shall not include the storage of merchandise as inventory.
d. Displays shall not be placed within the required
setback areas.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect as provided by
law.

upon the following roll call vote.
