AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
CALIFORNIA, PREZONING 6.15 ACRES FROM COUNTY R-1
(RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY) TO CITY RSF (RESIDENTIAL
SINGLE FAMILY). (91-RZ-2). APPLICANT: ALLIED GROUP
AND HELON SAAB, INC. LOCATION: SOUTHEAST CORNER OF
BROOKSIDE AVENUE AND ORCHARD HEIGHTS. ANNEXATION
91-ANX-3-51.
WHEREAS, the owner of 6.15 acres, located on the
southeast corner of Brookside Avenue and Orchard Heights, has
requested annexation to the City of Beaumont; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO)
of the County of Riverside requires that a City prezone property
prior to the filing of an annexation application; and
WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing as required by
law was conducted by the Beaumont City Council on the 8th day of
April, 1991 on said prezoning;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Upon recordation of the Certificate of
Completion of Annexation 91-ANX-3-51 by the Local Agency Formation
Commission, the Beaumont Zoning Map shall be amended to read as
follows:
Property identified as Riverside County Assessor
Parcel Number 406-181-001, is prezoned from County
R-1 (Residential Single Family), to City RSF
(Residential Single Family).
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days after its final passage and within fifteen (15) days after
its passage the City Clerk shall cause a summary to be published
in the Record Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed and published in the City of Beaumont, in the manner
prescribed by law for publishing of Ordinances of said City.
MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of April
1991.

CERTIFY, that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council of said City held on April 8
1991, and was duly adopted upon second reading on April 22
1991, upon the following roll call vote:
AYES: Council Member Leja, MacNeilage, McLaughlin, Parrott
and Mayor Connors.
