AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
CALIFORNIA, REPEALING SECTION 12.08.010 OF THE BEAUMONT
MUNICIPAL CODE, AND ADDING NEW SECTION 12.08.010 TO THE
BEAUMONT MUNICIPAL CODE, AMENDING TITLE 12, STREETS, SIDEWALKS
AND PUBLIC PLACES, CHAPTER 12.08, PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION
STANDARDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, STATE
OF CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Section 12.08.010 is hereby repealed from
the Beaumont Municipal Code.
SECTION 2: New Section 12.08.010 is hereby added to the
Beaumont Municipal Code to read as follows:
12.08.010 Adoption of standard specifications. The
Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, most
current edition, edited by the Southern California Chapter of the
American Public Works Association and the Associated General
Contractors of America, is adopted as the standard specifications
for all public works within the city. Each and all of the
regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of the
Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, most
current edition, are referred to, adopted and made a part of this
chapter, as though fully set forth in this section.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take effect as provided
by law.
