A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-25 BIENNIAL CITYWIDE BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood (the "City Council") reviewed
the FY 2023-25 Proposed Budget for the City of Lynwood attached herein and made a
part of this resolution through this reference; and
WHEREAS, the agenda for the June 20, 2023 meeting of the City Council was
duly posted, and the FY 2023-25 Proposed Budget and all related agenda material were
made available to the interested parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby finds and declares
that the foregoing recitals are true and correct, and incorporates them herein as findings
and as a substantive part of this Resolution.
Section 2. The City .of .Lynwood Budget for Fiscal Year 2023-25 is hereby
adopted, as presented in the FY 2023-25 Proposed Budget.
Section 3. The Fiscal Year 2023-25 Proposed Budget will be amended by adding,
deleting, reclassifying, and/or transferring the classifications/positions and their funding
as follows:

Section 4. That the City Manager (at his discretion) or his designee is authorized
to carry over incomplete Capital Improvement Projects with remaining account balances
and available funding sources from the prior fiscal year, to allow the work in progress
relative to these projects to continue in an uninterrupted manner contingent upon
revenues being available.
Section 5. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to approve any
transfer between accounts provided that they are within the same department and the
same fund.
Section 6. Authorize the Mayor to execute the Resolution for and on behalf of
the City of Lynwood.
Section 7. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 8. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City Council
Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of June 2023.
