A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING THE ENGINEER'S REPORT PREPARED PURSUANT TO
CALIFORNIA STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE, SECTION 22565 ET
SEQ., AS ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON JUNE 20, 2023,
RELATING TO THE LYNWOOD LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City Council, on June 20, 2023, adopted Resolution No. 2023.069,
ordering the Engineer to make and file with the City Clerk, -a report in writing in accordance
with the requirements of Streets and Highways Code, Section 22565 et. seq.; and
WHEREAS, Willdan Financial Services (as assessment engineer) has prepared
and filed said report with the City Clerk and the City Clerk has presented said report to
this City Council for consideration.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby finds and declares that
the foregoing recitals are true and correct, and incorporates them herein as findings and
as a substantive part of this Resolution.
Section 2. The City Council has considered said report as filed and is hereby
approved.
Section 3. Said report, including any plan and diagram, estimates of costs and
expenses and assessments shall be placed on file in the office of the City Clerk and may
be examined by any interested persons.
Section 4. Authorize the Mayor to execute the Resolution for and on behalf of
the City of Lynwood.
Section 5. This Resolution shall take full force and effect immediately upon
adoption by the City Council
Section 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and
hereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of June 2023.
