HomeMy Public PortalAbout20010125minutesCITY OF JEFFERSON PURCHASING COMMITTEE MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 25, 2001 MEETING PRESENT:Bill Lockwood, Director of Parks Tom Jones, Director of Wastewater Division Allen Garner, City Counselor Steve Schlueter, Director of Finance ABSENT:Larry Vincent, Councilman Charles Jackson, Councilman Cliff Olsen, Councilman The meeting was called to order by Chairman Steve Schlueter at 9:00 A.M. Chairman Schlueter informed the committee that the councilmen will be meeting separately from staff to formulate their thoughts and desires as to the direction and recommendations needed for the committee. Chairman Schlueter distributed several pages of information which he felt should be the focus of this meeting. They included a Mission Statement to be adopted by the committee and also a list of sections of the City Code that contained the largest number of violations cited by the auditors. All of the sections pertaining to the City Code references were covered with the items pertaining to the purchasing code to be covered at the next meeting. The next scheduled meeting is set for Friday, January 26 at 10:00 A.M. The meeting was adjourned at 10:40 A.M.
