ITEM #1: Consideration of additions or changes to the agenda
ITEM #2: Open the public hearing
ITEM #3: Interview two volunteers for vacancies on the Planning Board
ITEM #4: Annexation and Zoning of 0.08 acres on the north side of Orange Grove Road.
The owners of Patriot’s Pointe Apartments are acquiring a small portion of 2119
Orange Grove Road and asking the parcel be zoned Multi-family to match the
larger development. The tract is not large enough to allow expansion of the
project, but can accommodate a project sign. (A portion of OC PIN 9863-59-
0494).
ITEM #5: Special Use Permit request for Mt. Bright Baptist Church to construct a faith-
based cemetery on 1.44 acres at the southeast intersection of Cedar Grove Road
and Cedar Street. The plan proposes gravel access roads and 362 burial sites after
the removal of the existing dwelling and proposes no permanent buildings,
parking, or staff. This is OCPIN 9864-99-0402.
ITEM #6: Future Land Use Plan updates and amendments for the Hillsborough Planning
Jurisdiction and areas covered by the 2009 Hillsborough Orange Inter-local Land
Management Agreement with Orange County.
ITEM #7: Unified Development Ordinance amendment to Section 4.3.1.2 to specify that
Neighborhood Business Special Use district is available in the Historic Overlay
District.
