A RESOLUTION: REQUESTING THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION TO ACCEPT CERTAIN STREETS
WHEREAS, the Town is requesting the Virginia Department of Transportation to accept
certain streets; and
WHEREAS, there are two streets that have recently been completed and are eligible to
request maintenance funding; and
WHEREAS, the streets being requested are:
• Pastoral Place SW (Valley View Avenue to cul-de-sac)
• Hope Parkway SE (Whipp Drive to Miller Drive)
THEREFORE. RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows: The Virginia Department of Transportation is requested to accept into the Virginia
Department of Transportation's Urban Highway System for Maintenance Payments the
following:
• .18 lane miles of Pastoral Place SW (Valley View Avenue to cul-de-sac)
• 1.16 lane miles of Hope Parkway SE (Whipp Drive to Miller Drive)
