A RESOLUTION: APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN FISCAL
YEAR 2020 GENERAL FUND OPERATING BUDGET OF $2,820 OF
JINGLE JAM CONCERT PROCEEDS TO BE DONATED TO THE
JUVENILE DIABETES RESEARCH FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg supports the annual Jingle Jam concert series; and
WHEREAS, the net revenue from ticket sales and sponsorships are designated as a
donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation; and
WHEREAS, the Town collected excess revenue for the 2019 Jingle Jam concerts that
exceeded the approved operations budgeted estimates for the donation to Juvenile Diabetes
Research Foundation;
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, that the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
General Fund operating budget is hereby amended, and a supplemental appropriation of Jingle
Jam concert series proceeds is made in the amount of $2,820 for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
2019 and ending June 30, 2020.
