THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
ORDINANCE No.S5
AN ORDINANCE DECLARING IT TO BE IN THE INTEREST
OF THE PUBLIC WEtiiRE AND SAFETY TO VACATE AND
DISCONTINUE A PORTION OF 45th STREET DRIVE IN
THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS.
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Governing Body
that a request has been made to vacate a portion of 45th Street
Drive; and
WHEREAS, in the interest of the City it is desirable to vacate
and discontinue a portion of 45th Street Drive to promote the public
welfare and safety of the Citizens of Bel Aire, Kansas;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY
OF BEL AIRE:
Section 1. It is hereby declared to be in the interest of
public we~are and safety to annul, vacate and discontinue a portion
of 45th Street Drive as herein after more fully described.
Section 2. That the portion of 45th Street Drive is annulled,
vacated and discontinued as a street as described as follows:
45th Street North Drive from East Line of Lot 11,
to East line of Lot 8 and alley bet~en lot 10 and
Lot 11, all in Block 1, Krueger's First Addition
to Sedgwick County, Kansas
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication in the official City publication.
