A RESOLUTION: APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION OF $160,269
FROM AN ADDITIONAL GRANT RECEIVED FROM THE VIRGINIA
DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY FOR THE
TUSCARORA CREEK RESTORATION - TMDL PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Tuscarora Creek Flood Mitigation and the Tuscarora Creek Restoration -
TMDL projects are separate, but related, fully funded Capital Improvement Projects, and currently
under construction; and
WHEREAS, the Town received an additional grant for $160,269 through a Stormwater
Local Assistance Fund grant from the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality for use with
the Tuscarora Creek Restoration - TMDL capital project; and
WHEREAS, in order to utilize the funds for the Tuscarora Creek Restoration - TMDL
capital project the additional grant, a supplemental budget appropriation is required.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Capital Projects Fund for the Tuscarora Creek Restoration — TMDL project is hereby amended and
a supplemental appropriation is made in the amount of $160,269 for the fiscal year beginning July
1, 2019 and ending June 30, 2020.
