A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF AN EASEMENT TO
NORTHERN VIRGINIA ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE FOR ELECTRIC
SERVICE ON TOWN PROPERTY AT THE LEESBURG EXECUTIVE
AIRPORT TO HANGAR PAD SITE "B" LEASED TO SK AVIATION
LLC
WHEREAS, Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative (NOVEC) has requested an easement
on Town property at the Leesburg Executive Airport for a underground electric service line to
hangar pad site `B" leased to SK Aviation LLC.; and
WHEREAS, Town staff recommends that the easement be granted to NOVEC for the
same; and
WHEREAS, the easement, if granted to NOVEC by the Town, will not be a detriment to
Town owned property, and will provide electrical power service to the new hangar being
constructed on the leased pad site.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Mayor is authorized to execute the NOVEC easement in a form approved by the Town Attorney
for underground electric service on Town property at the Leesburg Executive Airport to serve the
hangar facilities constructed on leased pad site `B".
