A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF AN EASEMENT TO NOVEC
SOLUTIONS ON TOWN PROPERTY AT THE LEESBURG
EXECUTIVE AIRPORT FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS FACILITIES
FOR THE REMOTE TOWER CENTER
WHEREAS, NOVEC Solutions, Inc. seeks to provide and maintain a fiber optic
telecommunication system and has requested an easement for the installation of the underground
telecommunication facilities on Town property to serve the Leesburg Airport; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this line is for the operation of the telecommunications line
between the Remote Tower Center to be located in the office space at 748-750 Miller Drive, Suite
G and the Remote Tower facilities located at the Leesburg Executive Airport; and
WHEREAS, an easement agreement is necessary to allow NOVEC Solutions, Inc. to
install, operate, and maintain the telecommunications lines across Town property; and
WHEREAS, Town staff recommends that the easement be granted to NOVEC Solutions,
Inc. for the same; and
WHEREAS, the easement, if granted to NOVEC Solutions, Inc. by the Town, will not be a
detriment to Town owned property and will provide fiber optic service to the Leesburg Executive
Airport for the remote tower operations.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Mayor is authorized to execute the NOVEC Solutions, Inc. easement on a form approved by the
Town Attorney for easements on Town property at the Leesburg Executive Airport.
