A RESOLUTION: RECOMMENDING APPOINTMENT OF BOARD OF ZONING
APPEALS APPOINTEE TO THE CIRCUIT COURT
WHEREAS, members of the Board of Zoning Appeals are appointed by the Chief Judge
of the Circuit Court pursuant to Code of Virginia § 15.2-2308; and
WHEREAS, the term of Christopher Colsey to the Board of Zoning Appeals expires on
December 31, 2019; and
WHEREAS, an notice of vacancy seeking candidates to the Board of Zoning Appeals
was advertised in Loudoun Now; and
WHEREAS, Gregory Gutierrez has submitted a Letter of interest and resume requesting
appointment to the Board of Zoning Appeals.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
1. Council recommends that Gregory Gutierrez be appointed to the Board of Zoning
Appeals for the term to expire December 31, 2024.
2. The Town Attorney is directed to send Council's recommendation to the Chief Judge
of the Circuit Court.
