ITEM #1: Consideration of additions or changes to the agenda
ITEM #2: Open the public hearing
ITEM #3: Annexation, Rezoning, and Special Use Permit application from Braddock Park, LLC
to have 23.67 acres at the intersection of Orange Grove Road and Eno Mountain Road
annexed into the city limits and zoned Multi-family Special Use. The application
includes a Special Use Permit to construct 118 townhomes in 29 buildings. The existing
house will become a private clubhouse with other amenities. Streets will be private. The
OCPINs for the parcels are 9864-71-3556 and 9864-71-5457.
ITEM #4: Unified Development Ordinance Text Amendments to align the ordinance
requirements with state water quality requirements for the Falls Lake Basin
ITEM #5: Unified Development Ordinance Text Amendments to Section 3.9, 3.10, and 3.11 to
update conditional use permit, variance, and appeal processes to align with recent state
law changes
ITEM #6: Unified Development Ordinance Text Amendments to Section 6.13.8.6, the table
defining parking space and drive aisle dimensions.
ITEM #7: Unified Development Ordinance Text Amendments to Section 5.1.5, 5.1.6, 5.2.40, and
9.2 to delete reference to three classes of restaurant. All restaurants will become a single
use.
ITEM #8: Unified Development Ordinance Text Amendments to Section 3.13 and 5.1.6 to
remove the P/C designation from many uses based strictly on building square footage.
Uses designated with a “P” will be reviewed by the Planning Director or Technical
Review Committee. Uses designated with a “C” will require a Conditional Use Permit
from the Board of Adjustment.
ITEM #9: Convene Planning Board meeting to continue discussion of design standards for non-
residential development (Town Board welcome, but not required, to stay)
