HomeMy Public PortalAbout003-1996 - Rezoning - 1501 East Main StreetORDINANCE 3-1996 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AT 1501 EAST MAIN STREET WHEREAS the zoning map designates real estate at 1501 East Main Street as R-3 One to Eight Family Residence District, and WHEREAS it is desirable to change the zoning designation to C-2 Commercial District to accommodate commercial development of the area, NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation of the real estate at 1501 East Main Street, which is Auditor's Map Number 46-33-340-712.001-29 is hereby changed to C-2 Commercial District. The ordinance should be referred to Plan Commission for public hearing at its meeting on January 23, 1996. The ordinance could be back to Council for second reading on February 5, 1996. Notices were delivered to ten surrounding property owners, with no comments returned to this office.
