If cycling on Tybee, please use the 2nd Ave bike route. Cyclists have all the rights (drivers!) and responsibilities (cyclists!) of a motor vehicle, and you MUST provide 3’ from the nearest cyclist when passing! You must STOP for any pedestrians crossing or trying to cross at any marked crosswalks. It is also illegal to pass a car stopped at a crosswalk – you must assume a pedestrian is crossing. Remember, the speed limit on Butler Ave is 30 MPH from the Curve to Tybrisa. Let your out-of-town guests and friends know! Tybee for the Holidays! Tybee for the Holidays kicks off Thanksgiving Day!
