A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO HOWARD " CHIP" WILSON
FROM THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM
IWHEREAS, Mr. Wilson has provided community leadership and
immeasurable service to the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, as
member and Chairman of the Architectural Review and Planning
Board from 1994 to 1999; and
WHEREAS, he has made invaluable contributions to the
community during his years as a Town resident; and
WHEREAS, he presided over Planning Board meetings with
balanced judgement, dignity, and efficiency; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson's efforts did not stop at customary
Chairman duties; and
WHEREAS, despite his vigorous work schedule, he consistently
made himself available for consultations with the Town Manager;
and
WHEREAS, during his tenure he assisted the Town in developing
important Design Guidelines that will serve to preserve the
community's unique charm and character; and
WHEREAS, our valued Chairman was honored with a promotion
that resulted in his family relocating to the Philadelphia
area; and
WHEREAS, Chip will be greatly missed by Town officials, the
Town Commission and Planning Board members; and
WHEREAS, his contributions to this community will endure long
after his departure.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE
TOWN OF GULF STREAM, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT THIS RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION BE EXTENDED TO HOWARD
E.N. WILSON FOR HIS DEDICATION AND DEVOTED SERVICES TO HIS
COMMUNITY.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of June, 1999.
