A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AT
433-437 Northwest "L" Street
WHEREAS the zoning map designates real restate at 433-437 Northwest L
Street as C-4 General Business District, and
WHEREAS it is desirable to change the zoning designation to M-1 Light
Industrial District for the purpose of expanding tool and die business,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the zoning designation of the real estate at 433-437 Northwest "L" Street,
which is more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto, is hereby changed to M-1
for the purpose of expanding tool and die business.
Passed and adopted this day of 1996, by the Common Council
of the City of Richmond, Indiana.

The Richmond Advisory Planning Commission conducted a public hearing
on the rezoning request of Kim and Terri Wuertemberger for property they
own at 433-437 North West "L" Street.
The request is to rezone their property from C-4 General Business to M-1
Light Industrial District. Notice of the hearing was sent to all adjacent
property owners with none being returned for or against the request. No
one spoke in opposition to the request. One Planning Commission member
is also an adjacent property owner and voted along with the majority to
recommend approval of this requested rezoning. The vote was 8-0 in favor
of the request with three (3) members absent.

This ordinance relates to the rezoning request of 433-437 Northwest "L" Street from C-4
General Business District to M-1 for the purpose of expanding tool and die business. To
determine if the request meets the requirements you can review Richmond Code
154.34.00.02. The property is owned by Kim Wuertemberger and Terri J .
W uertemberger.
The ordinance should be referred to Plan Commision for public hearing at its meeting on
March 26, 1996.
The ordinance should be back to Council for second reading on April 1, 1996.
