ITEM #1: Call to order and confirmation of a quorum
ITEM #2: Consideration of additions or changes to the agenda
ITEM #3: Approval of minutes from February meeting
ITEM #4: Interview of volunteer for in town vacancy
ITEM #5: Consideration of an amendment to the meeting schedule to shift the date of the May
meeting to either the 14th or 28th to accommodate a training opportunity for staff.
ITEM #6: Election of officers
ITEM #7: Discussion of Unified Development Ordinance text amendments:
A) Amend Section 5.2.22.1 to delete subsection c requiring state approval – the state of
North Carolina does not issue approval in advance of kennel openings.
B) Amend 5.2.46.1 and 5.2.47.1to remove reference to submittal of a plat for recording –
this requirement is covered in another section of the ordinance and including it here
creates confusion about the timing of its preparation
C) Amend 6.20.8 to clarify the requirement for annual maintenance reporting for
stormwater devices.
