A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN THREE (3) YEAR AGREEMENT
WITH PHOENIX GROUP INFORMATION SYSTEMS TO PROVIDE PARKING AND
ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION AND ONLINE PARKING PERMIT MANAGEMENT
SERVICES TO THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
WHEREAS, historically the City has maintained a contractual agreement for
Parking Citation Management Services; and
WHEREAS, staff issued a Request for Proposals for Parking and Administrative
Citations and Online Parking Permit Management on July 7, 2023; and
WHEREAS, six vendors responded to the Request for Proposals; and
WHEREAS, Phoenix Group Information Systems throughout the evaluation
process consistently showed that they were the most qualified, and have the ability and
resources to successfully administer all services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the professional services
agreement with Phoenix Group Information Systems to provide parking and
administrative citation processing for a term of three years in the amount of $900,000
at the following yearly pay schedule: Year One: $275,000, Year Two: $300,000 and
Year Three: $325,000, and authorizes the City Manager to execute the agreement in
a form approved by the City Attorney.
Section 2. Funding for the contract services is included in the Community
Development Department's FY 2024 expenditure budget.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
