MAINTENANCE SERVICE AGREEMENT
An Agreement entered into on March 31, 1992, between the
Village of Key Biscayne (Village) and Jose Del Sol
(contractor) for purposes of contracting maintenance service
(general cleaning) for the Village offices, located at 85
West McIntyre Street, Key Biscayne, Florida 33149, for
services to commence April 1, 1992.
The following work will be performed by the Contractor:
Work to be performed:
GENERAL AREA:
Empty and damp wipe Ashtrays
Empty Wastebaskets
Dust tops of desks, furniture
Dust telephones
Dust partitions & ledges
Spot -clean walls & partitions
Damp wipe furniture/eating areas
Clean Sinks
Dust or Clean vents & grills
FLOORING:
Vacuum Carpeting (all areas)
Dust -mop & sweep hard floor areas
Spot -Clean carpet
RESTROOMS:
Empty trash & waste containers
Re -fill dispensers
(paper/soap, etc.)
Clean mirrors
Clean & sanitize sink & fixtures
Clean & sanitize toilets
Dust furnishings
Sweep and damp -mop floors
WINDOWS:
Lobby glass door
Interior Windows
Exterior Windows

Said work will be performed prior to 8:30 a.m., Monday thru
Friday. No work shall be performed during regular office
hours of the Village, weekends or holidays.
The Contractor will provide: Vacuums, cleaning
(carts, buckets, pails), cleaning rags, dust mops.

The Village will provide: restroom soap, toilet paper,
napkins, plastic bags, cleaning chemicles.

The Village agrees to pay the Contractor the sum of $250.00
per month, payable the first day of each month, beginning May
1, 1992, one month following commencement of services, and
said payments shall continue until such time as this contract
is terminated.
It is understood by both parties that this contract is an
independent contractors agreement and does not constitute an
employment contract and that the Contractor is solely
responsible for any and all federal, state and municipal
taxes including, but not limited to Social Security,
unemployment, federal and state withholding and other taxes.
Any modifications of this agreement shall be made by mutual
consent of both parties in writing and attached hereto.
In the event either party wishes to terminate this agreement,
it is agreed that this contract will continue in effect until
Thirty (30) days after written notice of termination is given
by eighther party, such written notice shall bell given in
wirting, and attached hereto.
Entered into this 31st day of March, 1992 by the following
