A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AWARDING
CONTRACTS TO THE SELECTED CONSULTANTS FOR ON CALL PROFESSIONAL
ENGINEERING SERVICES; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE THE
AGREEMENTS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has a selected list of on -call consultants that
assist with maintaining the City's workflow for both operations and CIP projects; and
WHEREAS, the existing agreements for the list of on -call consultants will expire
on December 31, 2023; and
WHEREAS, staff has created a new Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for On Call
Services; and
WHEREAS, on October 11, 2023, Staff received eighteen (18) proposals; and
WHEREAS, staff evaluated each proposal based on firm background, approach to
the City's on -going projects, experience, qualifications, fee proposal and readiness to
provide service and selected eleven (11) companies for the interview process; and
WHEREAS, on November 28th and November 29th, staff interviewed the eleven
(11) selected companies to have a better understanding of each company's services to the
City, experience, team members, communications, and other factors that will help in the
final selection process; and
WHEREAS, after an extensive review of each company's proposal, experience and
interview, staff determined to move forward with the following companies for the following
on -call services.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby finds and declares that
the foregoing recitals are true and correct and incorporates them herein as findings and
as substantive part of this Resolution.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Lynwood authorizes the Mayor to
execute the agreements between the City of Lynwood and the following companies: 1)
Transtech Engineers, Inc., 2) Onward Engineering, 3) Bowman Infrastructure Engineers
Ltd., 4) EXP, 5) W.G. Zimmerman Engineering, Inc., 6) Civiltec Engineering, Inc., 7) DMc
Engineering, 8) TAIT & Associates, Inc., and 9) dSantana Arquitectura.
Section 3. Authorize the Mayor to execute the Resolution for and on behalf of the
City of Lynwood.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution and
hereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of December 2023.
