ORDINANCE NO. 93 -754
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY AMENDING THE TEMPLE
CITY ZONING CODE RELATIVE TO RESTAURANT
PARKING REQUIREMENTS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Based upon the findings as contained in the Planning Commission
Resolution No. 93- 1712PC and based upon information provided in the staff report and discussion at the
Planning Commission meeting of August 10, 1993, and based upon the City Council public hearing on
September 7, 1993, the City Council amends the Zoning Code as follows:
SECTION 2. Section 9291 of the Temple City Zoning Code is hereby amended as
follows:
Cocktail lounges, restaurants, bars, coffee shops.
One (1) parking space for each one hundred (100) square feet of gross floor area, but not less than
10 parking spaces
Establishments serving hamburgers, tacos, doughnuts and similar products.
One (1) parking space for each one hundred (100) square feet of gross floor area, but in no case
shall less than ten (10) spaces be provided.
SECTION 3. This project should result in no significant effects upon the environment
and a Negative Declaration has been prepared in accordance with the State CEQA Guidelines. The initial
statement as prepared indicates there is no potential for adverse impact to the environment as it relates
to all wild animals, birds, plants, fish, amphibians, and related ecological communities, including the habitat
upon which the wildlife depends for its continued viability.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance
and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to be published in the Pasadena Star News,
a newspaper circulated in the City of Temple City.

I, City Clerk of the City of Temple City, hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 93 -754
was introduced at the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple City held on the 7th day
of September, 1993, and was duly passed, approved and adopted by said Council, approved and signed by
the Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk at a regular meeting held on the 21st day of September, 1993,
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmember - Breazeal, McGowan, Wilson, Budds, Manning
NOES: Councilmember -None
ABSENT: Councilmember -None
