APPROVING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT -
ROBERT DATO, ESQ.
WI~,REAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional legal services
with regard to the review of various zoning and housing occupancy related
matters; and
WHEREAS, Robert Dato, Esq. of Dato, Sico & Sica, 234 Main Street,
Woodbridge, NJ 07095, possess the requisite experience and expertise to provide
said specialized legal services; and
WHEREAS, Robert Dato, Esq. has submitted a proposal to provide the
aforementioned services at an hourly rate of $125.00 per hour not to exceed a
maximum cost of $2,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be
available for said purpose.
NOw, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that Robert Dato, Esq. is hereby appointed special counsel to
review various zoning and housing occupancy related matters at an hourly rate of
$125.00 for a maximum cost not to exceed $2,000.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this appointment is made as an award of a
professional service as defined by NJ.S.A. 40A:l 1-2(6).
