SUBJECT: ON -STREET DISABLED PARKING APPLICATION FOR 11273
THORSON AVENUE
BACKGROUND:
Staff received a request for an on -street disabled parking space from a resident living at
11273 Thorson Avenue. Staff has conducted a review of the requested location for on -
street disabled parking.
ANALYSIS:
Staff observed that the applicant does have a driveway approach in front of the property.
Based on multiple site visits, staff determined that there is reasonable space for three
vehicles to be stationed inside the owner's property. The on -site parking has reasonable
access for the resident to park in their property.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Public Safety, Traffic and Parking Commission review this
application and concur with staffs denial of the on -street disabled parking request in
front of 11273 Thorson Avenue.

BACKGROUND:
Staff received a request for an on -street disabled parking space from a resident living at
4039 Woodlawn Avenue. Staff has conducted a review of the requested location for on -
street disabled parking.
ANALYSIS:
Staff observed that the applicant does have a driveway in the rear of the property. Based
on multiple site visits, staff determined that there is reasonable space for two vehicles to
be stationed inside the owner's property. There is a reasonable amount of on -street
parking near the location.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Public Safety, Traffic and Parking Commission review this
application and concur with staff's denial of the on -street disabled parking request in
front of 4039 Woodlawn Avenue.
